Orphans and less privileged children
Care, provisions and a caring presence for children growing up without the support every child deserves.
Dollar Foundation is a charity organization in Koforidua, Ghana. We support orphans, the aged, widows, less privileged children and brilliant but needy students — and we mentor young people from primary school all the way to tertiary.
We reach out to the people in our community who are most often overlooked, and we stay with young people as they grow.
Care, provisions and a caring presence for children growing up without the support every child deserves.
A helping hand for older people and widows, so they know their community has not forgotten them.
Support for talented students whose families cannot cover what school demands, plus mentorship at every stage.
Be nice to someone for no reason.
It’s the line around our logo, and it’s how we work. Our volunteers don’t wait for a special occasion to show up for someone. A visit, a gift of provisions, an hour of mentoring — small kindnesses, given freely, add up.
Since 2019 our volunteers have visited schools and communities — from Unto Others International School in Accra and Asafo Pechi School to the Timber Nkwanta community and Akropong School for the Blind.
We bring books, pens, pencils, water, drinks, clothing, shoes, bags, slippers and more — and we stay to spend time together.
Every outreach is paid for by people who believe in being kind for no reason. With your help we can reach more children, more older people and more students.
Give, volunteer your time, mentor a student, or partner with us on an outreach. Every bit of help goes to the people we serve.
